Matthews CP Fall Farm League Rolls Past Ambridge 3

Matthews CP Fall (Farm League) 2025 erupted at the plate on Wednesday evening, powering their way to an 18-11 victory over Ambridge at Kane Rd. Leading the offensive explosion was Warren C, who drove in five runs on four hits, including a double, a triple, and a pair of clutch singles.

Warren wasted no time getting his team rolling, doubling in the first inning to plate two runs. He added a two-run triple in the fourth and later capped his standout night with an RBI single in the sixth.

The bats were hot all around, as Matthews CP Fall finished with an eye-popping 30 hits. The first-inning surge set the tone—eight hits brought home five runs and flipped an early 2-0 deficit into a 5-2 lead. From there, Matthews kept building, tacking on three more runs in the third behind RBI singles from Tony M, Ben M, and Silas G.

In the fourth, Ambridge closed the gap, but Matthews answered right back. An RBI groundout from Eli R tied the score before Warren’s booming triple pushed two more runs across, giving Matthews an 11-9 edge they wouldn’t relinquish.

The knockout punch came in the sixth inning, when Matthews plated six runs on eight more hits. Warren, Tony, Ben, Silas, and Grayson O all came through with RBI knocks, with Silas driving in two on a sharp single. The inning also featured one of the night’s defensive gems, as Enzo M snagged a screaming line drive in the infield, drawing cheers from the crowd and shutting down Ambridge’s rally attempt.

It was a true team effort at the plate. Alongside Warren’s big day, Enzo M, Silas G, and Ben M each tallied four hits. Gus B, Eli R, Grayson O, Tony M, Emerson R, and Luka P all recorded multiple hits as well.

With the win, Matthews CP Fall (Farm League) 2025 stays hot heading into their next matchup, a road test at New Brighton 1 on Monday.
