The Hopewell Girls Junior High Soccer team continues to build momentum, earning another big victory Wednesday with a 3-1 win over Beaver!
Beaver struck first, but Hopewell quickly answered before halftime. Kendall Bain found the back of the net to even the score at 1-1, with Amzey Budris providing the assist.
The Vikings came out strong in the second half, and the team’s strengths were on full display. Hopewell’s defense remained tough while the midfield consistently delivered strong passes to create opportunities going forward.
With some action and chaos around the goal, Amzey Budris was able to find the back of the net to put Hopewell ahead 2-1. Kendall Bain picked up the assist on the go-ahead goal.
The two continued their connection later in the half, with Budris assisting Bain on Hopewell’s third goal to make it a 3-1 game.
From defense to midfield to the attack, the Vikings put together a complete team effort to secure the victory.
The win moves Hopewell’s record to 4-2 on the season!
