🏐🥈 Lady Vikings Bring Home Second Place at Moon Volleyball Invitational! 💙💛

The Hopewell Lady Vikings varsity volleyball team had plenty to celebrate Saturday morning, earning an impressive second-place finish at the Moon Volleyball Invitational! 🏐👏

Hopewell battled its way to the championship match, where the Lady Vikings faced Thomas Jefferson with the tournament title on the line. In a competitive finish, Hopewell came up just five points short, falling 20-25.

While the championship narrowly slipped away, the Lady Vikings can be proud of their strong tournament performance and a well-earned runner-up finish against quality competition.

With four seniors providing leadership this season, including Avery Boyd (#4), Marina Pinchotti (#3), Ayla Pisano (#2), and Mikayla Kurta (#23), Hopewell continues to build valuable experience and momentum throughout the 2026 fall volleyball season. 💙💛

Congratulations to the Lady Vikings on a terrific showing at Moon and another opportunity to represent Hopewell with pride! 🏐🥈

Hello Hopewell! While I am not originally a Hopewell native, it has been my home for over 12 years. My wife and I have three beautiful children that all play Hopewell sports including baseball and softball. My wife and I are both active in coaching our Children's teams. I am a member of the Hopewell Youth Baseball Board of Directors and you will probably see me out at the fields at least a few days a week. Most recently coaching my youngest sons TBALL team.
