🚴♂️ BIKING VIKINGS ROLL OUT! 🌎🔥 Hopewell JHS Bike Bus Set for April 24
Hopewell Junior High is gearing up for something truly special—and the energy around it is already building. The first-ever “Biking Vikings” Bike Bus is set to roll on Friday, April 24, 2026, and it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable morning for students and the community alike.
This isn’t just a ride to school—it’s a celebration of Earth Day, wellness, and community spirit. Students will join together to bike a predetermined route to school, promoting healthy habits while supporting sustainability in a fun, high-energy way. And the best part? Community members are invited to be part of it, helping make this inaugural event as big and exciting as possible.
The ride kicks off bright and early, with participants meeting at Ohio UP Church parking lot (1236 Longvue Ave, Aliquippa) at 7:00 AM, with wheels rolling at 7:15 AM sharp. Riders can even hop in along the route, making it accessible for many.
All junior high students are welcome to participate (helmets required), and for those who may not have a bike, there’s an incredible local resource available—the Communicycle Program in Aliquippa, helping make sure more kids can join in on the experience.
This event is all about getting kids moving, building connections, and creating something positive together. If you know a Hopewell Jr High student—or just want to support a great cause—spread the word and come be part of it.
Let’s make the first Biking Vikings Bike Bus truly EPIC. 🚲💙
