HSN Expands Local Coverage, Celebrating Our Lady of Fatima Cross Country Success
New partnership brings expanded youth sports coverage and student success stories to the HSN community
Hopewell Sports Nation (HSN), The Hometown Sports Network, is expanding its commitment to highlighting student-athletes and youth sports throughout the region through a new partnership with the Advancement and Marketing Program at Our Lady of Fatima.
The partnership represents another step in HSN’s mission to provide more localized coverage of student success, giving young athletes greater opportunities to have their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments recognized by their communities. Through expanded coverage of Our Lady of Fatima’s youth sports programs, HSN looks forward to sharing more stories that celebrate the people, teams, and moments that make local athletics special.
One of the first accomplishments to celebrate is an outstanding finish to the Our Lady of Fatima Cross Country season, as the team took to the course at the Diocesan Championship this past weekend.
Fatima Cross Country Brings Home 12 Medalists
The Fatima runners delivered an impressive performance at the championship, recording numerous personal records while earning 12 medalists across the program’s developmental and junior varsity divisions.
Leading the way was Ava DelTondo, who captured first place in the Girls Developmental K–2 division to become a Diocesan Champion!
From the youngest runners in kindergarten through second grade to the junior varsity competitors, Fatima athletes demonstrated the determination and perseverance that define a successful season. Their results reflected the work put in throughout the year and provided plenty of reasons for the Fatima community to celebrate.

Building Confidence Beyond the Finish Line
Cross country offers young athletes an opportunity to develop more than their running ability. Each race presents a chance to challenge themselves, establish personal goals, and measure their progress throughout the season. The numerous personal records achieved by Fatima runners at the Diocesan Championship highlight that individual growth, alongside the team’s impressive collection of medals.
Congratulations to all the Fatima cross country athletes and coaches on a memorable season. From Ava DelTondo’s championship performance to the accomplishments of every runner who represented the school, the team gave the Fatima community plenty to celebrate.
As HSN begins this new partnership with Our Lady of Fatima’s Advancement and Marketing Program, we look forward to bringing more of these stories to the forefront, recognizing student achievement, and helping families and communities celebrate the next generation of local athletes.
Congratulations, Fatima Cross Country! HSN is proud to help share your story. Go, Fatima!
