Congrats to the Hopewell Middle School Hockey Team!
Congratulations to the Hopewell Middle School Hockey team for a big win last night over Deer Lakes.
Game Highlights:
*Goalie Aiden Ritchart faced 25 shots and made 22 saves.
*All 11 forwards played a strong game with nice passing and playmaking.
*Notable improvements on the wingers positional play in the defensive zone.
*Goal Scorers: Blake Franz with 2 goals, Gavin Narad with Goal, Austin Woods with Goal, Sebastian Delo with Goal and Cam McGuire with the Hat Trick.
“I am so proud and happy for our awesome players on their awesome big 8-3 win last night,” said head coach Coach Matt McGuire.
“The overall effort was there for the entire game. We moved the puck well, played some pretty solid defense, and found a way to get the puck to (and in) the net. I believe that was the first game where we outshot our opponent, which is a testament to the overall team play. Everyone contributed to that win.”
