WATCH: Playoff Game-Winning Overtime Goal by Hopewell’s Gunner Reese

The great thing about playing sports are the memories that kids have the opportunity to capture that will stay with them a lifetime.

In baseball, it’s a game-winning hit, in basketball, it’s the shot at the buzzer and in hockey, it’s a game-winning goal.

I guess in hockey the only thing that could top that is a game-winning goal in overtime to win a playoff game.

That’s a memory that Hopewell’s Gunner Reese will have forever.

The Hopewell/Central Valley Middle School hockey team won their first playoff game thanks to the overtime heroics of Reese. Congrats to the entire team as they fought back after trailing 3-0.

This team will look to stay alive as their next playoff game will take place tonight vs. Montour.
