Emma Palmieri Sets New Hopewell Indoor Track School Record

A big congratulations to Hopewell junior Emma Palmieri for breaking more school records.

This morning, at the 2024 Youngstown State High School Meet in Youngstown, Ohio, Palmieri set a new Hopewell High School indoor school record.

In the 400 M, Palmieri recorded a time of 1:01:31, which bested the previous record of Leia Michelle Day, who graduated from Hopewell in 2022 and currently attends Carlow College.

This past season in Cross Country, Palmieri represented Hopewell as she competed in the PIAA AA Cross Country Championship in Hershey. She became only the 3rd Hopewell athlete ever to qualify for the Pennsylvania State Championships for both Cross Country and Track.
