Big Day For the Hopewell Boys Youth Basketball Programs

Lots of basketball action today for Hopewell Youth Boys Teams at the Moon tournament. There is a possibility of multiple ages being crowded Champions for the Boys 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade age groups. See the tournament updates below.

The 3rd grade team is sitting at 2-1 with wins over Moon B and Upper St Clair, and is now waiting for a few more game results to find out if they will be playing in the Championship at 6pm today.

W 14-9 vs Moon
W 16-11 vs USC
L 14-18 vs Chartiers Valley

The 4th grade team is 2-0 and guaranteed a spot in the 6pm Championship game in the A division. They have a 4pm game today vs Avonworth, however that will not impact their seeding after defeating Moon A and North Hills A teams.

The 5th grade team is 3-0 after another win at 8am this morning. They will be playing in the Championship at 2pm today and looking to keep the momentum going.

Championship @ 2pm

The 6th grade team is 2-0 after defeating Montour B and West A. They play again at 11am today vs Cornell. They should have a strong chance of playing in the Championship at 1pm.
