Hopewell Boys 6th Grade Travel Team Wins Moon Tournament

More good things happening in regards to Hopewell Athletics!

Today, Coach Honess and the 6th grade boys travel team won the Moon basketball tournament. In the championship game, the Vikings beat Cornell, 38-23.

Leading the way for Hopewell today were Christian Fisher with a game-high 17 points, he also provided a strong low post presence.

Along with Fisher, Connor Reed scored 9 points, while Ryder Kostrick chipped in with 7 points.

This is the second tournament this year for this 6th grade team, previously coming in 2nd place at the South Side Tournament.

Next up is a semifinal playoff game tomorrow at Beaver Falls.
