A Huge Night For Two Hopewell Sports Teams!

A lot is on the line tonight for two Hopewell sports teams, the High School Girls Volleyball team and the Junior High Football program.

Coach Borkovic and the Girls Volleyball team will take on Freedom at 7 PM. What’s a stake? The Vikings are coming off of two big wins over both Central Valley and New Brighton. If they can win tonight, Hopewell will qualify for the WPIAL Playoffs for the 25th straight season. Once again, the match starts tonight at 7 PM from Freedom High School.

The other huge event concerns the Junior High Football program. A Championship is on the line!!

Coach Craig Bokor’s team is undefeated with a record of 5-0. Tonight, the Vikings will take on Aliquippa and if they come out victorious, they will be the 2023 regular season champions.

Hopewell’s victories this season have come against Blackhawk (exhibition), Freedom, Central Valley, Ambridge, Avonworth and Quaker Valley.

How dominant have Bokor’s Vikings been? How about the fact that they’ve outscored their opponents by a combined score of 255-22.
