Hopewell Softball 10U flexes bats against New Brighton!!!

Hopewell 10U-Team Santamaria continues to steam roll past the competition easily dispatching New Brighton black this afternoon.

New Brighton came out strong putting up two runs in the first but that was all the offense they could muster against this strong Hopewell Team. For Hopewell Gianna Ceccarelli toed the rubber in the first two innings giving up four hits and 2 earned runs but then settled in nicely. Madison Santamaria came in for relief and pitched two shut out innings of ball striking out 2 and giving up no hits.
The entire Hopewell team was hitting in the game amassing 16 total hits, Sofia Cronin lead the team going 2-2 with three RBI’s. Seven different batters had a multiple hit day including; Madison S, Gia, Aurie, Madison, Gianna, Meier and Sofia.

Big blast in the night was Sophia Cronin with an inside the park home run.

Hello Hopewell! While I am not originally a Hopewell native, it has been my home for over 12 years. My wife and I have three beautiful children that all play Hopewell sports including baseball and softball. My wife and I are both active in coaching our Children's teams.
