Hopewell Sports Nation Scholarship Now Accepting Applications for 2026!

Hopewell Sports Nation (HSN) is excited to announce that the 2026 HSN Scholarship is officially open for applications! This annual scholarship — now in its third year — encourages and supports outstanding student-athletes from Hopewell Township who excel both academically and athletically as they pursue post-secondary education.

About the HSN Scholarship

The HSN Scholarship Fund was established to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students enrolled at an accredited college, university, or trade school who have demonstrated a strong commitment to both their academic studies and involvement in high school sports in Hopewell Township.

The scholarship is awarded without regard to race, color, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation, and is designed to recognize:

• Academic achievements

• Community service

• Financial need

• Involvement in athletics during all four years of high school

In past years, HSN has proudly celebrated scholarship recipients — including Mya Parish and Emmett McCowin, the first annual scholarship winners — each of whom demonstrated exceptional performance on the field, in the classroom, and within the community.

2026 Scholarship Details & Criteria

Application Deadline
📅 March 1, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. EST (No exceptions)

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must:

• Be enrolled in (or accepted to) a 2- or 4-year college, university, or trade school

• Hold a minimum weighted GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale

• Demonstrate financial need

• Have played a sport during all four years of high school in Hopewell Township

• Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident

• Submit a completed 2023–2024 FAFSA

• Be in good educational and community standing

Incomplete applications will not be considered, so be sure to include all required documentation such as GPA verification, transcripts, and any other supporting materials.

Award Notification

Applicants will be notified by email and phone by the end of the school year in May 2026 regarding the status of their application and potential award.
