Team Daley Fall Ball Win Over Freedom!

Brady Daley led the way collecting four hits and driving in four runs in a 17-8 victory over Freedom on Monday evening at Freedom. He delivered run-scoring singles in the first, third, fourth, and fifth innings. As consistent as they come at such a young age Brady is having an amazing Fall Season.

Brady’s first RBI single got Team Daley on the board early in the top of the first. Jake Brunton added to the lead with a double in the second inning to make it 3-0.

Team Daley broke things open in the third when the bats really came alive. Brady Daley, Wesley Zubach,  Sheamus Riley, Zachary Perrine and Jake all came through with hits, and Sheamus swiped home to add another run.

Daley’s lineup was locked in all game, piling up 33 hits. Brady, Wesley, Gunnar Mack, Jake, and Mitchell Hodnicki each finished with four hits. Max Kokan, Jackson Soltis, Zachary, Aiden Greiner, and Cameron Baker also had multiple hits as the offense kept rolling. At the very young age of five in this 8u league, Gunnar Mack dealt the final blow with a laser up the middle against Freedom to walk off Team Daley for the night!

In the field, Team Daley played strong defense and didn’t give away any outs. Sheamus was especially busy at his spot, handling 11 chances cleanly. A catcher to watch this kid has enough heart to carry a team!

Freedom also swung the bats well, collecting 17 hits. Saige M had a big day in the cleanup spot, driving in four runs while going 2-for-3. Enzo C went a perfect 3-for-3 at the top of the order, while Jace K, Jaxon B, and Carter L each had multiple hits.

As we typically try to focus on development in rec ball, especially in the Fall ,you can see this effort paynoff with Team Daley. Since the opening game, hours of practice start to play out on the field as this team gets better and better as the season goes on!

Daley Fall Ball 2025 now turns its attention to their next matchup on the road against New Brighton.
