Not too Late Wrestling Sign-ups still Open!!!

It’s not too late to sign your child up for youth wrestling!  We are excited to already see an increase in our numbers compared to last year and still have room for more athletes!

Details:

⁃    Practices on Tues/Thurs 6-7:30 starting 11/12.  The first two weeks are free to try out with no commitment.

⁃    4 Matches against other local wrestling teams are included that will occur during the season along with the optional ability to sign up for tournaments

⁃    Wrestlers will only wrestle opponents within 1 year of their age and 5 pounds of their weight.

⁃    Girls wrestle too!  We are excited to see the growth of female wrestlers in the area along with female only tournaments.

Why should your child tryout wrestling?

•    Physical fitness: Wrestling can help kids develop strength, balance, coordination, and body awareness.

•    Mental resilience: Wrestling can help kids develop mental resilience, discipline, and determination. It requires focus, strategic thinking, and the ability to adapt to change.

•    Self-defense 

•    Goal setting: Wrestling can help kids learn to set and work towards goals.

•    Sportsmanship
