HW Wrestling Exciting Weekend of Competition.

The Hopewell Wrestling team had 17 kids participate this past Saturday November 30th in the Beaver Brawl Wrestling Tournament.

They had 8 out of 17 kids place in the tournament, meaning they got 1st through 4th in their division. This is the first tournament that Hopewell youth wrestling has participated in this season and the first competition for some of our new wrestlers to the program.

“Our program is continuing to grow, and we now have over 60 kids in the youth wrestling program. We are excited to take the mats and wrestle this upcoming weekend December 8th at our annual Hopewell Viking Classic which will be held at Hopewell High School” said Coach Majors following the event.

Hello Hopewell! While I am not originally a Hopewell native, it has been my home for over 12 years. My wife and I have three beautiful children that all play Hopewell sports including baseball and softball. My wife and I are both active in coaching our Children's teams. I am a member of the Hopewell Youth Baseball Board of Directors and you will probably see me out at the fields at least a few days a week. Most recently coaching my youngest sons TBALL team.
