Hopewell Girls Volleyball Wins Important Match vs. OLSH!!

HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP– HSN has an update on what’s happening with the No. 2 ranked Hopewell HS Girls Volleyball team.

On Tuesday night, the Vikings were at home and took on a good OLSH program. That match went the distance the Hopewell win in 5 sets. We’ll have some details on that match coming up.

Then last night, Hopewell thought they had a match against No. 1 ranked Quaker Valley. However, after arriving at Quaker Valley High School, the team found out there was some confusion in the schedule and QV wasn’t there to play.

That means that match will be rescheduled at a later date, and it’ll need to be because of the importance of it. Hopewell trails Quaker Valley by just one game in the loss column, so a win meant that Coach Borkovic’s squad would’ve been tied for first place.

No word yet on when that huge match will take place.

Taking a look at Hopewell’s upcoming schedule, they have two scheduled matches next week: Tuesday, October 1 vs. Northgate at Hopewell High School and then a huge match on Thursday, October 3 vs. Avonworth at Hopewell High School. This match will definitely have playoff implications.
