Hopewell Volleyball, Soccer and Baseball Teams All in Action Tonight
Aside from the NFL season kicking off tonight, it’s a busy night on the Hopewell athletic calendar.
Hopewell HS Boys Soccer:
Tonight at Tony Dorsett Stadium at 7:30 pm, the Hopewell Boys Soccer team will be hosting Central Valley in a section match.
Coach Richter’s team is coming off an 8-0 win over Ellwood City and will look to start the season 2-0.
However, tonight’s content against the Warriors will be a lot more challenging than the opener.
Hopewell Sports Nation will be there tonight and will have a complete recap.
Hopewell Fall Pony League:
The Vikings will look for win No. 2 this fall as they travel to Beaver. On Tuesday, the pitching of Andrew Arzberger, Luke Vukovcan and Nico Yannessa led Hopewell to a 7-2 win over Blackhawk.
Right-handed Reed Budavich will get the start tonight for Hopewell.
Hopewell will be a bit short handed tonight but will apply the “next man up” motto.

Hopewell HS Girls Volleyball:
Coach Borkovic’s team will be on the road tonight at Northgate. The Lady Vikings will be looking to rebound from Tuesdays 4-set loss to Quaker Valley. Tonight is an important match in order to get that winning feeling back before a challenging match next week against Avonworth.
