Volunteers requested for the HW Lady Vikings Shootout Tournament, see below for details and sign up genius.

JR. HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL PARENTS – PLEASE READ

The following email was sent out 11-28-23:

Parents,

Last year, our shootout tournament brought in over $4600 to our boosters’ program. It is by far our largest fundraiser that helps us support and celebrate our players throughout the season.

This year, we are not sure we will be as successful considering the lack of volunteers/effort from our players/families. (i.e., we will cancel running all concessions and only run gate entries) This is not a fundraiser we have to run by any means but without it, we will be forced to cut back on player items and gifts as well as our end-of-season banquet.

Hello Hopewell! While I am not originally a Hopewell native, it has been my home for over 12 years. My wife and I have three beautiful children that all play Hopewell sports including baseball and softball. My wife and I are both active in coaching our Children's teams. I am a member of the Hopewell Youth Baseball Board of Directors and you will probably see me out at the fields at least a few days a week. Most recently coaching my youngest sons TBALL team.
