This morning at the Meyer Middleton Fields in Crafton, the Pittsburgh Diamond Dawgs Travel Baseball Organization held their year end in-house Diamond Dawgs World Series.
This is a weekend tournament where the different age groups are split up into different teams and play a two-day tournament.

As I was at the fields this morning, there’s one thing I can tell you, this definitely had a Hopewell vibe to it.
Looking around at the different fields, I saw Kruz Krotec, Elliott Mancos, Connor Reed, Channing Yesionek, Jaxsen Covalt, Reed Budavich, Collin Davis, Andrew Arzberger and Luke Vukovcan.
Congratulations to Mancos as his team, the Pittbulls won the 11-year-old group, while Arzberger and Covalt won the 13-year-old competition with the Bulldogs.
This ends the on-field season for these players, but conditioning will continue over the winter.
Before you know it, Covalt, Budavich, Davis, Arzberger, Vukovcan and the other members of the Hopewell Junior High Baseball program will begin preparing off the field for the 2024 season.
