Matt Weiss Resigns As Hopewell High School Football Coach

This afternoon, Matt Weiss announced his resignation as head football coach at Hopewell High School.

Weiss was hired to replace Mark Washington back on December 17 of 2018 and just completed his 5th season leading the Vikings program.

This past season, Hopewell finished with a record of 1-9, which was obviously both disappointing and taxing on Weiss.

Weiss submitted this letter of resignation to the Dr. Beltz and the Hopewell School Board this afternoon following the school day.

Hopewell Sports Nation is told that Weiss is having a team meeting in the locker room at 3:30 PM to inform his players.
