Hopewell 11/12u Loses to Beaver 4-2

Team Mancos played a tight game tonight vs Beaver. The pitching for Hopewell managed to stifle a highly competitive Beaver Lineup with great pitching and defense.

Taking the mound for Hopewell to lead off was Connor Eiler pitched 2 innings giving up three hits and one run, striking out 3, followed by relievers Nico Yanessa and Anthony Ventresca who combined pitched three innings striking out five batters.

Unfortunately for a Hopewell the Beaver pitchers also came out throwing strikes and managed to post up 12 K’s on the night virtually silencing the Hopewell bats. the only three hits of the night came from David Johnson, Elliott Mancos and Anthony Ventresca.

My wife and I have three beautiful children that all play Hopewell sports including baseball and softball. My wife and I are both active in coaching our Children's teams.
