Hopewell Running Back Jacob Brunton Makes Weekend Visit to Westminster

It was a busy yet exciting weekend for Hopewell senior running back Jacob Brunton.

Following the Vikings Friday night contest against Western Beaver, Brunton made a visit to one of the schools that are interested in him playing football at for the next four years.

Brunton took a visit to Westminster for their matchup against Thiel. In a President’s Athletic Conference matchup, Westminster defeated Thiel, 28-7, as four different Titans scored touchdowns in the home opener.

With the win, Westminster evened its record at 1-1.

Westminster is one of two programs that have offered Brunton the opportunity to continue playing in college, with the other being St. Vincent.

Brunton and his Hopewell squad will be on the road this weekend as they travel to take on Avonworth.
