Softball Allstar 10U Team Tournament this weekend!

The Hopewell 10U Softball Allstars are still at it entering a late Summer tournament starting this Friday 7/28 at 8pm in South Fayette.

The tournament is not shy on talent. In addition to Hopewell the competition looks fierce with their first games going up against West Mifflin, South Fayette and Upper St. Claire.

Come out and support your young Softball Stars if you can if not stay tuned to Hopewell Sports Nation for all of the tournament updates!!!

The girls have been hard at work for weeks coming off a strong season going deep into the Rec playoffs hosting multiple practices each week, lead by head coach Rachel Santamaria, Keith Cunningham, Lou Ceccarelli, and Mary Cronin.

“We have a great group of girls this Allstar season. We are ready to compete, but we are always focused on what’s best for the girls and their long term development in the sport. We want to teach them the fundamentals that will carry them through high school and that’s why we partner closely with Ronda Koblek the Hopewell HS Varsity coach during our practices. She has been great coming out and working with the girls every week on basics like the fundamentals of pitching.” said coach Santamaria.

Hello Hopewell! While I am not originally a Hopewell native, it has been my home for over 12 years. My wife and I have three beautiful children that all play Hopewell sports including baseball and softball. My wife and I are both active in coaching our Children's teams. I am a member of the Hopewell Youth Baseball Board of Directors and you will probably see me out at the fields at least a few days a week. Most recently coaching my youngest sons TBALL team.
