Hopewell 9-Year Olds Open Up With 7-1 Win Over North Hills

The Hopewell 9-year old All-Stars came out of the gate hot against North Hills with a 7-1 victory in their home tournament.

Pitching for the Vikings tonight was spectacular. Zac Seech went the first 2 innings, striking out 6 batters and didn’t allow a hit.

The Viking bats showed up in the bottom half of the first putting up 2 runs. Sean Bain and Michael Ambrose led the way both with 2 RBI’s each. Gannon McNally also had 2 hits in his tournament debut.

The Vikings put the game away behind very strong pitching by Connor Eiler to seal the win.

The 9’s will pick up action again tomorrow at 4pm against Butler.
