About NGSR

Next Gen Sports & Rec’s mission is to offer fun and safe sports and recreational programs, activities and events for kids in the Beaver County and Greater Pittsburgh area. Next Gen Sports & Rec was founded by Tim Kraemer back in March 2022, with the desire to provide high quality youth sports and recreational programs in the area while wanting to create a positive impact and difference in the lives of all youth who partake in them at the same time.

Next Gen sets itself apart from other similar businesses in the industry mainly through their teaching approach and views on sports and competition. We believe that sports is a microcosm of life which allows for people to learn some valuable life lessons and skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication and perseverance, just to name a few. We also believe in healthy competition which is a way to challenge us and bring out the best in us, rather than the worst and in turn view winning as more than simply the final score at the end of a game but rather how we played the game.

Men’s Basketball League – (8-week Basketball League)

Get ready to hit the court with our Men’s Basketball League, the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills, enjoy competitive play, and connect with fellow basketball enthusiasts. Whether you’re a seasoned player or looking to get back into the game, this league offers a great mix of camaraderie and competition. While generating a competitive environment is essential and exciting, creating a community will always remain the ultimate win to make this league successful. Spots fill quickly — don’t miss your chance to be part of our inaugural season!

Summer ’25
Men’s Basketball League

Every Sunday from June 8th to July 27th

Sundays from either 6:00 to 7:00 pm or 7:00 to 8:00 pm*

Minimum age requirement is 21 years old.
Two captains per team who will be in charge of drafting their team from the overall pool of players.
Players will be ranked on a scale of 1 to 5 at a “scrimmage combine”
A live draft will take place Friday, June 13th from 6:00-8:00 pm at a location TBD, all are welcome to attend.
All players will have a minimum amount of total minutes played in the game that will be recorded.
Games will be 4 Quarters of 8 minutes running time except on free throws and the last 2 minutes of each half.
Two officials per game.
A disciplinary committee will be formed at the beginning of the season where every team will select one player to be a part of it (excluding captains).
