πŸ’™πŸ’› More Than Medals: A Season of Improvement

While team medals and meet victories are always exciting goals, cross country is about more than where a team finishes or an individual places. It’s also about challenging yourself, building endurance, and seeing just how far you can go.

Throughout the season, many Hopewell runners recorded personal records (PRs), showing the progress they made against their own previous performances. Those improvements reflect the time, effort, and commitment these athletes put into developing as runners throughout the fall.

Every PR represents a milestone, whether it’s shaving seconds off a previous time, pushing through a challenging course, or discovering a new level of personal potential. Those achievements deserve to be celebrated right alongside the medals and victories!

As the season comes to a close, HSN congratulates all the Hopewell cross country runners and coaches on their hard work and dedication this fall. From individual podium finishes to personal milestones, each meet offered another opportunity for these athletes to grow and represent Hopewell with pride.

A special thank-you to Head Coach Tim Monske and Assistant Coach Brian Wolfe for their leadership, guidance, and commitment to helping these student-athletes develop throughout the season.

Way to run, Vikings! πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Hello Hopewell! While I am not originally a Hopewell native, it has been my home for over 12 years. My wife and I have three beautiful children that all play Hopewell sports including baseball and softball. My wife and I are both active in coaching our Children's teams. I am a member of the Hopewell Youth Baseball Board of Directors and you will probably see me out at the fields at least a few days a week. Most recently coaching my youngest sons TBALL team.
