An Exciting Night in Hopewell – Athletics!
It was a packed evening in Hopewell with action happening across multiple fields, courts, and trails. The Boys JV and Varsity soccer teams squared off against Quaker Valley, JV lost 3-0 and Varsity lost 3-2, the goals coming from Bryce Ray and Aidan Gonzalez. Just steps away the Girls Volleyball teams battled Freedom and came away with the sweep, this team has the chance to work towards a repeat WPIAL Championship game!

On the diamond, the Boys Colt team kept sharp with a practice session on their home field, preparing for upcoming matchups this weekend.
The Hopewell Cross Country program also had a strong showing, as both the boys and girls hosted Chartiers Valley and West Allegheny in a home meet that brought plenty of excitement on the trails. To round out the night, the Boys Pony Baseball squad earned a big win, defeating Beaver Falls 13–7 in front of their home crowd.
At the center of it all, a food truck fundraiser for the Girls Basketball program brought the community together, adding great food and spirit to an already action-packed night.
From soccer to volleyball, baseball to cross country, and even off the field with the fundraiser, Hopewell’s student-athletes and supporters showcased their talent, commitment, and community pride — making it a night to remember for the Viking family.
