Giannis of Hopewell – Joins HSN

As we open up the Spring Season here at Hopewell Sports Nation we want to thank all of our sponsors for their continued support of our business and mission.

So far this year we are doing better then ever, expanding our coverage into New Sports, New Extra Curricular Activities, Adding New Fresh Feature articles covering some of the top athletic talent in Hopewell like: Bella Fischer (Ballet), Presley Dahlke (Dance), Emily Crisi (Volleyball). HSN Feature Articles are diving into the entirety of Hopewell Sports Athletics with articles including Director Joe Lamenza.

HSN is also working on ways to expand services like Live Stream events that will bring in funding from outside of Hopewell reserving localized sponsorships to go right back to the student athletes, programs and student writers.

New to the Hopewell Sports Nation Family is another local business right here in the Hopewell Shopping Center – Giannis Pizza!

HSN spent some time with Joseph Maritato and his wife Trisha. They took ownership of  Gianni’s Pizza in the Hopewell Shopping Center in March 2023.  They live in Moon township with their children Sophia; a sophomore at Slippery Rock, and son Joey; a senior at Moon Area High School.  While you can still find the usual staples at Giannis including high quality pizza and great wings they are slowly making improvements; Joe said, “Since taking ownership, we’ve slowly made some cosmetic changes to the shop, and added a few menu items. More importantly, we’ve had the opportunity to meet lots of folks from Hopewell township.  Everyone is so kind and friendly and always has nice things to say.  Now that we’re a little more established, staffed up, and worked out the kinks, going forward our goal is to become more active in the community and meet some more of our neighbors that we haven’t had an opportunity to serve yet.”
