Hopewell’s Zach Kovell Receives His 1st Athletic Scholarship Offer!
Senior Zach Kovell is without question one of the most talented athletes at Hopewell High School.
Whether it’s on the basketball court, on the track or in the classroom, Kovell excels and today all of his hard work has been recognized.
This morning, Kovell got word that he had received a Track and Field offer from Westminster College. This becomes his first athletic offer.
Congratulations to Zach and his proud parents, Chris and Ashley!

“Is this real? I was very excited to see I finally received my first official (offer). After visiting so many schools I was waiting for the first official offer to come through.”

-Was part of Hopewell Boys first WPIAL Team Championship appearance in school history.
-Beaver County Championships Co-Track MVP and Co-Overall MVP.
-Beaver County Championships Triple winning the 100m, 200m and 400m.

Aside from excelling in track, Kovell also got it done on the basketball court as he led the Vikings basketball team in scoring last season.
