Boys Cross Country Wins at Blackhawk Meet, Girls w/Strong Performance!!!

Published

on

Yesterday Hopewell traveled to Blackhawk where the Boys and Girls Teams faced off against Blackhawk. The competition was fierce throughout as Hopewell and Blackhawk were neck and neck most of the way but the Boys managed to win in two age groups by one point and the girls were not far behind.

Luca Flitcraft (17.52), Ryder Kostrick (14.37) and Emma Palmieri (22:07) put in great performances leading the way for Hopewell along with the rest of the team placements. Cross Country is a team sport and each and every runner is needed to compete.

Hello Hopewell! While I am not originally a Hopewell native, it has been my home for over 12 years. My wife and I have three beautiful children that all play Hopewell sports including baseball and softball. My wife and I are both active in coaching our Children's teams. I am a member of the Hopewell Youth Baseball Board of Directors and you will probably see me out at the fields at least a few days a week. Most recently coaching my youngest sons TBALL team.
