Hopewell Boys Soccer Loses to Central Valley, 2-1, in Tight Contest

Published

on

Last night at Tony Dorsett Stadium, the Hopewell High School Boys Soccer team battled against rival Central Valley.

Despite their fight, the Vikings fell to the Warriors, 2-1.

Our Vikings had a lot of intensity and aggression throughout the game, especially in the 2nd half. The team is slowly picking up on Coach Nate’s style of coaching and getting better each game.

Prior to the varsity match, the Hopewell JV team tied Central Valley, 0-0.

The Vikings played a strong defensive game. My top players of the JV match were Iwere Senior, Tanner Saltzman, Jake Kovell, Dominic Buchanan and Elijah Persi-Jones.
