Hopewell 25 Hickory 17
Hopewell 25 Maplewood 20

Following the pool play results, Hopewell received the 3rd seed heading into the playoffs.
In the playoffs, Hopewell defeated Erie McDowell in the quarterfinals 25-23 in a very competitive set.
In the semifinal set, Hopewell lost 25-17 to a very powerful Butler team.
“Overall, I was pleased with our performance, ” Coach Borkovic told HSN. “We would have enjoyed playing in the championship set. We played extremely well at times. I thought our best effort was the loss to eventual champion Seneca valley in pool play. There were a few sets where we lost our focus. Bottom line, we gained playing experience, learned some things about ourselves. The girls enjoyed a long day of playing the sports they are passionate about.”
You have a chance to come out and watch and support this team this coming Tuesday as they host a very good Quaker Valley team. This is an important conference matchup. The JV team starts things off at 6 PM, followed by the varsity.
Come over to Hopewell High School to support this talented team.
Go Vikings!!
