The San Rocco Foundation Looking for Volunteer Help from Young Athletes
Many of you attend, many of you love. The San Rocco Foundation is all about “Keeping Traditions Alive”. This year marks the 99th year of celebration.
The Foundation is a 501c3 that gives back to many charities in the area including Hilltop Horizons, Communicycle, BF Jones Library, High School (Hopewell, Aliquippa, Blackhawk) sports and band teams to name a few. More information can be found at their website www.sanroccofoundation.org. They even offer 2 scholarships every year; one to a college attendee and one for VoTech.
The Foundation is looking for help and it’s a great way for many of our High School athletes to give back the Foundation that gives to them. They are looking for a few hours of help running a game booth in the kid’s area. Please see sign up genius link
The Celebration is August 9,10 and 11th at St. Frances Cabrini Parish. Come celebrate with homemade pastries, Italian food, area food truck favorites, Cassanova and the Jaggerz, Fireworks and the traditional Doll Dance to close out the celebration. Full line up at Facebook #FollowtheFoundation.
