WATCH: HSN Interviews Superintendent Dr. Jeff Beltz Following Saturday’s Township Facility Meeting
For the second time this week, the Hopewell Area School District held a public forum regarding one of the most crucial topics in the township, the future of our school facilities.
This afternoon at the High School, Hopewell Superintendent Dr. Jeff Beltz and Mr. Dan Engel from DRAW Collective, once again outlined facility options and answered questions from members in the audience. There were six options outlined, but as presented, there are four that seem like viable options.
Afterwards, audience members met in focus groups, talked about what was discussed and then provided written feedback on the option they favored. During the focus groups, district administrators, school board members, and DRAW Collective architects engaged with community members to provide additional information and sought input.
Despite the topic of today’s meeting being a hot button issue, with many varying community opinions, there was a very cordial exchange of information from all sides.
Hopewell Sports Nation was in attendance and afterwards spoke to Dr. Beltz.
