Ally Ramaley came in as relief throwing two innings, striking out one and giving up 2 earned runs. As the second relief pitcher Ally had an impressive pitch/strike ratio throwing at 67%. We will watch closely to see Ally’s progress as the season rolls on.

There was not much in the way of offense after the first as the CV pitching shut out HW after a promising start the notable mentions were, Barkovich and Isabella Katkich as they each collected one hit for Hopewell Varsity Vikings while hitting back-to-back.

Victoria Mann and Compton were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Hopewell Varsity Vikings.

HW has some work to do as three back to back  to back away games this week will test their depth and determination. Keep rolling ladies HW believes in you!!!

Next up for Hopewell Varsity Vikings is a game at Quaker Valley Varsity Quakers on Monday.
