Hopewell Twerp Cheerleaders Win Their 2nd National Championship!!

The Hopewell Twerp Cheerleaders are champions once again!

This weekend, this group of ladies took 1st place at the Erie Nationals. This was their second National Championship this year, along with also winning a Super Regional.

Yesterday, they “Hit Zero”, which means they had zero deductions on their scoresheets, something they accomplished multiple times during their extended season. They walked away with a score of 88.47.

The Hopewell Twerps (Golden Gems) Cheerleaders are the eight and under team for the Hopewell Youth Football League. This group of young ladies had a very successful extended season.

This season, these girls won 1st place on three separate occasions, beating out other talented teams. They had the highest scores in their division on both days of a National Competition in Ocean City, Maryland with a score of 87.99 on Day One and 89.01 on Day Two. They then went on to take 1st place at the David Lawrence Convention Center “Oh How Sweet It Is” competition in March with a score of 86.96.
