NEW BRIGHTON– For the 3rd time in the last week, a Hopewell youth basketball team has won a championship title.

Following the 5th grade Boys and Girls winning the Our Lady of Fatima Memorial Classic over the weekend, the Hopewell 4th grade Boys Travel Team beat Beaver Falls tonight to win the PBC Championship.

After trailing at halftime and by 7 points in the 3rd quarter, Hopewell went on a huge run in the 3rd quarter and eventually won the championship on a 3-point shot with :30 seconds left in the game by guard Wes Gigliotti.

Wes was huge in the second half scoring 13 of his game-high 17-points in the 3rd and 4th quarters.
