Hopewell Bocce Ball Team Qualifies For PIAA Playoffs
Congratulations to the Hopewell Blue Bocce Team who received some good news today.
Coach Chris Nee and his team found out today that they were selected to compete in the PIAA Playoffs.
Because they finished in 2nd place in the recently completed divisional playoff tournament, the Vikings had to wait to find out whether or not they could receive one of three at-large bids. Three of the five second place teams received bids.
Here is the Bocce Playoff Schedule for Hopewell:
Date- Wednesday, March 6th.
Location: Geneva College
Warms Ups: 9:15 am-9:35 am
Competition Starts on 4 Courts: 10 AM. This will consist of 3 rounds of single elimination.
 -10:00-1030 AM Game 1 Quarterfinals
 -10:45-11:15 AM Game 2 Semi Finals
 -11:30-Noon Championship/Consolation
The Hopewell Blue Bocce Team 2 team members include:

Logan Butter.
This group of kids finished the regular season with a 4-2 record, averaging 7.17 points per match.
For Hopewell fans that want to attend, the playoffs will take place at Geneva College (3200 College Avenue, Beaver Falls)
