Congrats to Hopewell Gymnastics For Their Win Over Chartiers Valley!

We’re excited to be able to post a story about another team in the school district and that’s the Hopewell Gymnastics team.

HSN appreciates the Vikings coaching staff reaching out and providing us with this information following a Hopewell win!

Hopewell won their second section meet of the season against Chartiers Valley on Sunday, January 21st. The final team score was Hopewell – 99.00 / Chartiers Valley – 40.7!

Senior Olivia Sedlacek placed 1st on Vault, 1st on Bars, 1st on Beam, 2nd on Floor and 1st All-Around. Junior Alaina Kelly placed 3rd on Beam, while sophomore Emily Bauknight placed 2nd on Vault, 2nd on Bars, 1st on Floor and 2nd All-Around.

The Hopewell gymnastics team has 3 freshman, Marina Pinchotti, Reece Jesko, and Stella Vallecorsa who are currently out sick/injured.

HSN wants to wish Hopewell the best of luck in their next section meet on Monday, January 29th vs. Central Valley, South Side & West Allegheny at their home gym site of Monaca Turners Gymnastics at 6:30PM.

This will also be Senior Recognition Night for our Hopewell Senior, Olivia Sedlacek.
