1st Round Interviews for Hopewell Football HC Job Complete; 3 Finalists

The first round interviews for the Hopewell High School football head coaching vacancy have been completed.

From what we understand, a committee interviewed 10+ candidates on Wednesday and have narrowed their list.

Sources tell HSN that Hopewell is now down to three candidates that they’re considering.

Out of respect to the process, the committee and the coaches, we won’t name the 3 finalists but will tell you this.

Two of the three candidates are not currently associated with the Hopewell football program. One of them is an assistant in the WPIAL. The second is a former WPIAL head coach. The third candidate was a member of the Hopewell football program (high school or junior high) in 2023.

It’s believed that this process is expected to wrap up by January, when a candidate will be submitted for approval by the school board at their next session.
