HW Basketball Shootout Fundraiser

Published

on

Dozens of youth lady Vikings took to the court tonight in a shootout battle raising funds for youth basketball!!!

Girls from 3rd-6th grade hit the court each getting 100 chances to sink as many baskets as possible. This is no easy challenge, even for an experienced athlete as it takes focus, stamina and endurance to maintain your composure and shoot 100 baskets.

Girls that sink the most baskets in their age group were awarded with gift card prizes.

Winners of the 3rd & 4th grade free throws. On the left is Kendal Kaminski and on the right Is Amzey Budris.

5th and 6th Grade Winners:

Pictured first is Madison Morgan whom fundraised the most money for the event and is in the fifth grade.

Then Sam Holsinger for 6th grade and Talia Santia for 5th grade round out the winners for the event.

Hello Hopewell! While I am not originally a Hopewell native, it has been my home for over 12 years. My wife and I have three beautiful children that all play Hopewell sports including baseball and softball. My wife and I are both active in coaching our Children's teams. I am a member of the Hopewell Youth Baseball Board of Directors and you will probably see me out at the fields at least a few days a week. Most recently coaching my youngest sons TBALL team.
