Good Luck To The Hopewell High School Golf Team in The WPIAL Playoffs

We wanted to let everyone know and wish the best of luck to another Hopewell team that will be participating in the WPIAL playoffs.

The Hopewell Boys Golf team is one of 42 teams between the 2A and 3A classifications that qualified for the WPIAL Boys’ Golf Team Championships. The Vikings finished the year with a section record of 9-3.

Hopewell is one of 24 teams participating in the Class 2A Championships that will start tomorrow at 9 AM from the Beaver Valley Golf Club in Patterson Heights, PA.

The Qualifying Teams include: Hopewell, Belle Vernon, Brentwood, Carmichaels, East Allegheny, Eden Christian Academy, Elizabeth Forward, Fort Cherry, Freeport, Greensburg CC, Keystone Oaks, Knoch, Ligonier Valley, McGuffey, Mohawk, New Brighton, Neshannock, Quaker Valley, Seton LaSalle, South Park, South Side, Uniontown, Waynesburg Central and West Mifflin.

Hopewell is in a bracket that includes Eden Christian Academy, Elizabeth Forward, Fort Cherry, Freeport, Keystone Oaks, Knoch, Mohawk, New Brighton, Neshannock, Quaker Valley and South Side. The top three teams from each semifinal will advance to the Championship Match. That will take place on October 12th at 10 AM from Cedarbrook Gold Golf Course in Belle Vernon.
