HW Youth Football Kickoff!!!
As Spring and Summer Sport programs come to a close it can only mean one thing…Football Season is here!
HW Youth Football kicked off practices this week for multiple age groups including the Twerps, Termites and Mighty Mites, and there were a bunch of announcements provided on important dates listed below from the league.
The drills were in full swing at the very first practice teaching hand skills, tackling, and of course lots of running! That large hill the kids all had fun sliding down this winter now seems to be the big green monster!

Registration is almost closed … please head to our website to register your player asap.

Registration closes 6/30 @ midnight
Conditioning Starts: Monday 7/8/24, Mon. thru Thurs. from 6- 8:00pm @ MS Field; bring cleats, water bottle and please wear athletic clothes …)
Mandatory Heat week : 7/22/24, Mon. thru Thurs. 6-8:00pm
Mandatory Parent Meetings: each players must have an adult in attendance. And this is when you’ll turn in all required documents :
❗️You need all Three items❗️
*a paper copy of your most recent report card,
*a wallet size head shot
*1 of the following:
ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE ( It can be a color copy as long as it is accompanied by the notarized document attached below ) ,
An original shot record signed by a doctor,
or A color copy of your baptism certificate.
Meeting times are as follows
7/23: Twerps @ 7:45
7/24: Termites @ 7:45
7/25: Mighty Mites @ 7:45
Football Pictures will be held on Friday 7/26 @ the gym at Our Lady of Fatima church from 5-9pm. Exact team times will be announced closer to the date.
Also you will be responsible to turn in a $150.00 Check at the day of equipment pick up. The league will hold onto this for lost or unreturned equipment. This check will be returned at the end of the season following all equipment being turned back into the league.
This all will be collected at the Mandatory Family Meeting Held the Week of July 23rd. If all documents are not turned in your child will not be eligible to play. NO EXCEPTIONS. They are requiring all players to turn in these documents for age and school verification. They will be doing this instead of the NATIONAL SPORTS ID Website.
