An exciting day in Hopewell yesterday with the track team putting on an impressive display, while all three Hopewell baseball teams took to the fields as well as Hopewell Junior High Softball. Hopewell Junior High Softball played a Double Header on the Varsity Fields while the Track Team hosted a Meet right beside them. Tony Dorsett Stadium was packed with spectators and a full evenings worth of events for the town to enjoy!

Scoreboard:

Varsity Baseball Took on Serra Catholic – L 15-5

Freshman Baseball Vs. West Mifflin Double Header W 10-9 and 7-0

Junior High Baseball – Scheduling conflict leads to internal team scrimmage – Hopewell Wins 🙂

Softball- Junior High Double Header vs. Beaver – split with one win and one loss- 7-1 and 1-8

The Hopewell Track and Field Team had a beautiful day to fill up Tony Dorsett Stadium to celebrate their senior night! Congratulations to all of our Senior Vikings. Mentionable achievements Skylar Elias finished second in the girls 800m.

Hello Hopewell! While I am not originally a Hopewell native, it has been my home for over 12 years. My wife and I have three beautiful children that all play Hopewell sports including baseball and softball. My wife and I are both active in coaching our Children's teams. I am a member of the Hopewell Youth Baseball Board of Directors and you will probably see me out at the fields at least a few days a week. Most recently coaching my youngest sons TBALL team.
