The Hopewell 8th Grade Lady Vikings showcased impressive serving strength and teamwide contributions Monday night, battling through a competitive three-set matchup with Quaker Valley.
Hopewell demonstrated poise and growth throughout the contest, highlighted by a confident 25β21 second-set victory in which the Lady Vikings controlled momentum from the service line. The match extended to three sets, providing valuable experience and underscoring the teamβs developing consistency.
The Lady Vikingsβ serving unit was the standout, producing 55 total serves with 8 aces and just 4 errors, an efficient and encouraging mark for the junior high squad. Multiple players generated scoring runs, reflecting balanced production across the lineup.
Brooke Otto paced Hopewell with 3 aces, while Ariana Fischer delivered the highest ace percentage of the night with 2 aces on 6 serves. Stella Sannan added 2 aces, and Amiyah Shell contributed another to the Lady Vikingsβ total.
