Brunton’s Dairy: Beaver County’s Best- Grand Reopening!

Today, July 10th, Brunton’s dairy re-opened their doors for the first time since October of 2023. This momentous occasion drew so many people to get the fan favorite milk. The Brunton’s with open arms welcomed everyone in with positivity and appreciation for the community.

Overview:

After months of dedication, hard work, and incredible community support, the Brunton family has officially reopened their barn and production plant with a brand-new process. Today marks a special milestone, as the Brunton’s were finally able to return to doing what they love most-producing fresh, local dairy for Beaver County.

The grand reopening drew a wonderful crowd of supporters, neighbors, and loyal customers. People came out not only to show their love for the farm, but also to celebrate this new chapter by purchasing Brunton’s shirts, merchandise, and- of course- the signature fresh milk that has made them a local favorite for years.

It was a day filled with pride and excitement for the future of Brunton’s Dairy.

What’s changed:

The newly upgraded milking barn and production plant at Brunton’s Dairy has significantly improved the efficiency of milk collection and production. With the latest technology in place, the process is not only smoother but also more precise. Each cow now wears a signaling device that transmits unique data to the milking machine –  information such as the cow’s identity, health specifications, and milking history. This allows the machines to automatically and individually milk each cow with consistency.

These advanced systems require daily calibration to ensure accuracy and quality. I had the privilege of learning firsthand how these machines operate and was able to observe the calibration process alongside Alexia Brunton. It was a fascinating experience that gave me a deeper appreciation for the science and dedication behind every bottle of Brunton’s milk.

Visiting the farm and seeing the new production plant- with its increased transparency and visibility into the entire process –  offered a powerful reminder of the hard work, innovation, and commitment it takes to produce the fresh, delicious milk we all enjoy. It’s clear that the Brunton family has poured their hearts into this new chapter, and the results speak for themselves.
