Hopewell K Rocco Marcantonio Sets WPIAL Record with 56-Yard FG
HOPEWELL TWP- WPIAL history was made at Tony Dorsett Stadium in Hopewell’s game against Quaker Valley.
Others in the WPIAL might get more attention but there isn’t a better kicker in the WPIAL or maybe in the state than Hopewell’s Rocco Marcantonio.
Tonight, the junior boomed a 56-yard FG to set a new WPIAL. By the way, the kick would’ve been good from 60 yards. The old WPIAL record was 55 yards by East Allegheny’s Josh Miller in 2002.

Earlier this season, Marcantonio connected on one from 49-yards.
