Hopewell Nation Get a Vote in For Brody Rock and James Armstrong as Beaver County Times Player of Week.

Hopewell Sports Nation let’s try and help out two members of the Hopewell football program.

Every week, the Beaver County Times awards a high school football player of the week and both Rock and Armstrong are two of the eight players up for consideration.

This past Friday, that duo were key contributors in Hopewell’s 35-34 overtime win over Ambridge. In the game, the freshman quarterback threw for a career-high 176 yards, ran for 61 yards, ran for 2 TD’s and threw for another one. Rock carried the ball 23 times for 74 yards, while collecting 5 receptions for 123 yards and a TD.

Other players up for consideration are- Jance Henry from Central Valley (159 yards rushing, TD), Brock Cornell from West Allegheny (102 yards rushing, TD), Roman Police from West Allegheny (38 yards rushing, 2 TD’s), Travis Clear from Beaver (300 yards passing, 3 TD’s 3 Int), Zavion Lewis from Ambridge (167 yards rushing, 2 TDs) and Amari Jackson from Beaver (10 catches for 105 yards, TD).
