WATCH: The Play of Lines Will Dictate Progress Hopewell Makes

HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP- It’s a cliche but it’s true.

If your football team doesn’t have a good offensive or defensive line, it doesn’t matter how good your quarterback or skilled position players are, chances are you’ll have a hard time winning.

That’s definitely the case with the 2024 Hopewell Vikings.

On paper, they appear to have skill at wide receiver, running back, quarterback and in the secondary but can their big men win the battles up front?

As I’ll continued to say it’s early but the offensive and defensive line look bigger and in good shape, which is very encouraging.

They also will be bringing back players that received on the job training in 2023 so they were able to gain some valuable experience.

Hopewell Sports Nation was able to talk with two talented members of the Hopewell line, Nick Thomas and Dom Gaughan, who are encouraged with what they’re seeing.
